Training
Our training on a Tuesday takes place at St Mary’s School and Homerton College Sports Fields, Trumpington, Cambridge CB2 8PX on astro. We encourage players thinking about joining the club to come along to a free first session to get a feel for the club and ethos. Contact us today and arrange to come along to a session.
2 Teams
Cambridge Rangers has two teams that play in the local Cambridgeshire league. Games are played on a Sunday either at 11am or 2pm depending on the fixture. We are a club that encourages players of all abilities. Our coaches and club ambassadors seek to support and develop players to reach their potential and be part of a team and environment that thrives on friendship, fitness and healthy competition.
Home Ground
Cambridge Rangers’ teams play in the Alan Boswell Group Cambridgeshire Girls and Women’s Football League. Our home ground is Girton Recreation Ground, Cambridge Road, Cambridge, CB3 0FH.

About our club
Cambridge Rangers WFC has been part of the Cambridgeshire football scene for almost 20 years!
The club was formed by players who sought to promote women’s football and encourage players of all abilities to play, develop and enjoy the sport of football.
Rangers has helped develop many players since the club started and the club continues to welcome players from around the city and the world for that matter.
We also have players who have played in top league levels and are at the tail end of their footballing journey and want a more relaxed and friendly approach to the game.
Our committee, players and coaches share the same philosophy; believing that football is for everyone, and it is about enjoyment as much as it is about winning. Of course we love to win! We are competitive. And our teams have enjoyed promotion in the league numerous times
What sets us apart from other clubs is the fact that our players are smiling at the end of every game, no matter the result. Win, lose or draw, players encourage and support each other.
As well as football, we host many socials during and out of season. We often attend WSL and International football matches, host games nights and enjoy one or two post-match celebrations!

Over 20 years we have welcomed players from across Cambridgeshire. Some players have been at the club since its inception. Others have joined during their short stay in Cambridge, be it for work or study. And many former players who have had to move or quit the game continue to be part of social activities and remain part of the extended Rangers football family.
