
Cambridge Rangers Women’s Football Club is committed to safeguarding the welfare of adults at risk and children. The Club insists on very high standards and expects that all its coaches, managers, players, volunteers and visitors to training sessions and games to share our commitment at all times. All our coaches/managers at our club have a current FA DBS check.
The Club believes that its coaches, managers, players, volunteers, and visitors have a moral obligation to report any concerns about an adult or child at risk to the Club.
Cambridge Rangers is committed to ensuring that:
- The safety and welfare of children and adults at under the Club’s care is of paramount importance.
- All children and adults at risk who are involved with Cambridge Rangers, regardless of age, gender, language, culture, social background, disability, racial origin, religious beliefs and/or sexual identity have the right to safety and protection from abuse or harm in any form.
- All suspicions, reports and/or allegations of abuse will be treated seriously and be thoroughly investigated, which may involve the appropriate local authority where required.
Cambridge Rangers would also strongly encourage anyone with an allegation or concerns regarding welfare to contact our Welfare Officers in the first instance, or alternatively, contact the NSPCC / FA Helpline on 0808 800 5000 or help@nspcc.org.uk or contact the police, where specially trained staff will be able to provide advice and guidance.
